About Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development

What Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development does


We work with partners to grow Auckland’s innovation culture and key sectors, to attracting foreign direct investment, international events and visitors from around the world. It’s our job to work with new and existing Auckland businesses to help them start up, grow, innovate and export. We focus on developing infrastructure and opportunities to support innovation and entrepreneurship in key advanced industries, which typically grow faster, export more and pay better at all employment levels.
